APPOINTMENTS: Appointments are not necessary, but highly recommended. No matter where you are driving or flying from, someone must be scheduled to be at the barn to show you the horses.  And that someone is ME.  There is only one of me, and no one would like to wait hours while I am showing horses to customers with scheduled appointments.

LOCATION: Barn is located about 7 miles from the city limits of Westminster, SC 29693.  Directions to the barn are available for a scheduled appointment.  We are approximately 1.5 hrs from Asheville, 2.5 hrs from Charlotte, 2 hrs from Atlanta, 2.5 hrs from Columbia.

These are generic directions to Westminster, SC 29693
From Atlanta, I-985 North follow signs to Toccoa, GA.
Take Hwy 123 to SC line. We are about 5 miles from there.

From Asheville: I-26 South to Hwy 25 South to Hwy 11 South to Hwy 123 to Westminster.

From Columbia, I take I-26 to I-385 to Exit 23.  Hwy 418 to the Left.  Follow 418 to Hwy 25.  Cross Hwy 25, to Hwy 8.  Follow Hwy 8 to I-85 South to Exit 11, Hwy 24 to Westminster.

REFERENCES: Upon request, we can provide contact information for many
satisfied customers as well as Vet and Farrier references.
The local farm vet is Walhalla Vet Clinic, and
owner, Dr. Oliver has bought 2 horses for his kids from us :)
I also use Dr. Stan Brown (AMAZING!) from Washington Ga.
Yeah, he bought his horse from us too.
I also use Kim Parker, www.kimparkerdvm.com
Yeah, she bought 2 horses from us for her kids :)

DEPOSITS:  If you are seriously interested in one of our horses, you may want to be prepared to make a deposit upon your visit to ensure the horse is not sold prior to arrangements for purchase being made. It is also normal procedure for buyers to send a deposit prior to their long distance visit to ensure the horse will not be sold before they can come. We do not know how long a horse will be available and for this reason we regret that we cannot hold any of our horses or give preference to any buyer without a deposit.  Deposits are $500 for a horse priced upto $5000, and 10% of advertised price for any horse priced over $5000.  A deposit will entitle the buyer to right of first refusal of the horse for a period of time not to exceed 5 days. Once the deposit is made, the horse will not be sold to another buyer for the agreed time period, allowing enough time for arrangements for a visit, vetting and/or purchase to be made.  Deposits can be made by check, cashier’s check, wire transfer, or cash. All deposits are non-refundable; however if you determine for any reason the horse is not for you, you may use the deposit towards the purchase of any other horse within 6 months.

PRE-PURCHASE EXAMINATIONS: We welcome an optional veterinary examination on any of our horses prior to purchase. This may be performed by a veterinarian of the buyer’s choice and may be as thorough as desired. All costs associated with the pre-purchase exam are the buyer’s responsibility.  Several Clients have used Keith Stafford for pre-purchase exams, He is mobile and has digital xrays.  He is the farm vets for such farms as: Stone Ridge Equestrian Center, Cliffs of Keowee Equestrian Center, Twin Tree, etc.  Clients have also used Garrison Vet of Anderson SC, BiBi Freer in Columbus NC, Cross Roads Animal Hospital of Seneca SC and Apple Valley of Hendersonville NC.

TRIAL PERIODS: For our horses' safety, none of our horses are available for trial. However prospective approved buyers are welcome to make as several visits to try the horse or take lessons on the horse. Also, it may be possible to make arrangments for a serious buyer to try the horse at different facilities to further ascertain its suitability.

PAYMENT: Payment is accepted via cash, local cashier’s check, and bank/wire transfer. Personal checks and out-of-state cashiers checks are accepted and will result in up to a 15 day hold on taking delivery of the horse/trailer, just until the check clears.
No horse will be allowed to leave the farm until paid for in full, with no exception.
Upon receipt of payment, ownership transfers to buyer, as does all risk of loss, injury, and any related vet expenses, etc.

TRANSPORTATION: We can provide horse transportation if previously arranged. Contact us for a hauling quote. Otherwise, we can provide names of reputable shippers for local and long distance hauling.  We recommend Lone Star Transport
Rodney & Brandy Wilbanks  706-202-4365

GUARANTEES: Our horses, saddles, and trailers are sold as-is with no warranties or guaranties expressed or implied.  All sales are final.  All horses we represent for sale are self-owned. We regret that in fairness we cannot be responsible for a horse’s condition once it has left our premises.   A veterinary exam is welcomed to determine the horse’s present condition and its current fitness for a particular purpose. Due to our concern for everyone’s best interest, please note that we reserve the right to refuse sale to anyone if we feel it is not the right home or match.

Thanks for looking.  Let us help you find the horse of your dreams.
